So I actually finished reading this book a week or so ago, but never got the time to blog about it. So here it goes.
This series is based off the world Riordan created in his last series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I read this series a while back, and I definitely recommend this series to everyone who enjoys magical and adventurous books.
This book, as well as the last series is a modern depiction of Greek mythology. I absolutely love Greek mythology, and when my brother recommended these books to me, I had to read it. I can tell you, I was not disappointed what so ever.
Anyways, this book is the beginning of a new series, sharing the same world and some of the same characters from Riordan's last series. I took me quite a while to finish this book, not only because it was a little over 500 pages, but because I was so occupied with school. I found that unusual since I'm used to finishing books really quickly, no matter how long.
I don't know what else to blog about without giving away the story line, so I think I will stop here. But def. a great book to read! I cannot wait until the next one in the series comes out. But until then, I am reading another one of Riordan's new books, this one being a complete different series, based off of Egyptian mythology.
